| Valves Brief Valves are a kind of controlling parts in the transporting system of liquids with the functions of truncation, adjusting, diversion, reflux proof, voltage stable, distributary or over flow decompression etc. The valves in liquids control system, there're a large number of kinds and specifications from the simplest check valve to all sorts of valves used in the most complicated auto-control system. Valves can be used in the control of all kinds of liquids flow such as air, water, steam, corrosion medium, sludge, oil products, liquid metal and radiation medium etc. The inside nominal diameter of valves are from several mm of apparatus valve to 10m of industrial pipe valve. The working pressure of valves are from 1.3X10-3Mpa to 1000Mpa, the working temperature are from -269¡æ to 1430¡æ. There're many control methods for valves' start and stop such as manual operation, electric operation, pneumatic operation, electric-pneumatic or electric-liquids interlock operation and electric magnetic driven etc, they also can be operated according to the requirement through pressure, temperature or other sensor signal, or just simple close and start. The uses of valve Valve is a kind of pipe annex. It is a device which can change passage section and flow direction, control the medium flow, it has following uses: 1. Put through or stop the medium in pipe. Such as gate valve, check valve, ball valve, plug cock valve, diaphragm valve, butterfly valve etc. 2. Adjust and control the flow and pressure of medium in pipe. Such as throttle, damper valve, pressure relief valve, safe valve etc. 3. Chang the flow direction of medium in pipe. Such as distribution valve, tee plug cock, tee or four way ball valve. 4. Prevent the medium in pipe returning back. Such as different structure non-return valve, bottom valve etc. 5. Separate the medium. Such as different structure vapor drain valve, air drain valve etc. 6. Indicate and adjust liquid height. Such as liquid surface indicator, liquid surface adjuster etc. 7. Other special use. Such as temperature adjusting valve, stop valve of over flow protection etc. Among the above mentioned valves, there're 80% valves which are used in getting through the medium and stop the medium.
