The Heritage Plus Plan is the newest and next generation of final expense burial insurance policy on the market today. This plan combines a Lincoln Heritage Life Insurance Company policy with a complimentary membership into the Funeral Consumer Guardian Society. The Funeral Consumer Society is a not-for-profit organization based in Washington D.C.

The Heritage Plus Plan offers (Conditions may vary according to state):

FINAL EXPENSE WHOLE LIFE and 20 PAY - provides a level death benefit during the lifetime of the insured. Premiums payable for life on the whole life and fully paid up after 20 years on the 20 Pay.

GRADED DEATH BENEFIT - for those with health problems for the past 13 to 24 months. Unlike most companies, we do not have a lot of qualifying questions to get this coverage. Rates are same as our standard plan. It is available from ages 0 to 85.

  
       
   

MODIFIED DEATH BENEFIT - for those with health problems for the past 24 months. Unlike most companies, we do not have a lot of qualifying questions to get this coverage. It is available from ages 40 to 85.

  
       
   

ACCIDENTAL DEATH & DISMEMBERMENT (AD&D) RIDER

  

This rider provides additional benefits needed in today's troubling world. Terrorism and accidents are definitely factors in the world today, and Lincoln Heritage Life is not shying away from its responsibility to help protect our insured's from these horrible events.

The new accidental death and dismemberment rider issued by Lincoln Heritage Life Insurance Company provides the following benefits. It is available for purchase on a per unit basis with the maximum number of units being five (5).

CHILD RIDER		  
Each unit insures each child or stepchild for $2,000 level term to age 22, regardless of the number of children.  A maximum of 5 units may be purchased. Children must be 18 or under at the time of application.

Children born after the effective date of the rider and who are at least 30 days of age are automatically included at no extra charge.  This rider may be converted to any permanent plan of insurance of any equal or lesser face amount on the policy anniversary on or next following the insured child's 22nd birthday.  Only natural or adopted children of the owner can be covered under the rider.  Grandparents may not purchase this rider on grandchildren.
