Monitoring system for IP networks
This software was created to monitor the state of IP networks links. It controls that this link are up and working and in the case of a failure it yields different kind of alarms. To check the links it sends ICMP packets, similar to the "ping" utility.
Besides, it writes a log file with all the information for the day, noting any change in the state of the network and saving statistical data for all the monitored links, like speeds, disposability in percent, etc.
It runs on a PC with Windows© 9x/NT/2000 which runs the 24 hours allowing to control up to 10 links simultaneously. The alarms are visual, sounds and a message to a pager can be send.
The price of this program is $ 500,- pesos for Argentine residentes, or USD 500,- dollars for not Argentine residents.
