Our Company

BMS/BTU is located in Pearland (Houston), Texas and was established in 1969. BMS consists of three separate divisions, listed below, which are primarily involved in the sale of propylene, welding filler material, and liquified hydrocarbon gases.

High Purity Gas (HPG) Division

The HPG Division markets and distributes propylene under various brand names as an alternative gas to acetylene and Mapp gas and services approximately 600 bulk facility installations throughout the U.S.

Koballoy Division

The Koballoy Division was formed in 1986 to market welding electrodes for the industrial gas industry. The primary product is semiautomatic welding wire commonly used in GMAW (MIG) and gas shielded FCAW (flux-cored) processes. The primary line is manufactured by Kobe Steel of Japan.

Specialty Gas Concepts Division

hôtels BergenThe Specialty Gas Concepts Division was acquired by BMS in 1992 and markets high purity, guaranteed specification hydrocarbons. The primary market for these gases is the specialty gas divisions of the large industrial gas companies. The product line of the Specialty Gas Concepts Division consists of propane, butane, propylene, iso-butane, iso-butylene, ethane, butylene, 1,3 butadiene, cis-2-butene, trans-2-butene, pentane, iso-pentane, toluene, heptane, and ethyl chloride.
