All registered cruisers are invited to roll with the Rt. 66 City Nights Parade. The cruises will begin on the city’s southside and motor along in-town alignments to the festival grounds. We’ll be Dancin’ in the Streets! When the parade winds down, the music comes up. Dance the night away to some of the area’s best bands. Keep your energy high all night long by munching on the original Cozy Dog and other Route 66 specialty foods. You’ll also find plenty of your favorite beverages to help keep your whistle wet. “City Nights – After Hours” The fun doesn’t stop at 11p.m. On the contrary, many of Springfield’s fine downtown establishments will be open to the wee hours, so you can party ’til the cows come home!  Boogie Down From the wah tootsie to the hustle...you’ll be able to bustamove all day long. Catch a variety of outstanding acts at the free outdoor stages. Dance, sing and shake your groove thing with the best of them. Hungry? Thirsty? Not a problem. You’ll find a myriad of food and drink vendors scattered throughout the festival grounds.
