| Director of Fit To Go She's a fitness columnist, a personal trainer and a nutrition counselor. Laura's fitness practice includes in home personal training and fitness counseling. She teaches group exercise in health clubs, corporate fitness centers and conducts private yoga workshops. Keeping Fit, Laura's regular feature column,Hotels in Bologna appears every week in the New Jersey Daily Record, a Gannett publication). Laura also consults for women's magazines on fitness and nutrition issues and does group lectures. Her clients range from the Girl Scouts of America to Honeywell Corporation's Global Headquarters. In her role as a fitness center manager, Laura saw people join health clubs with the best of intentions, then easily fall back into bad habits and forfeit their memberships. Watching people approach fitness as a chore or seeing fitness goals as unattainable she set about inspiring people to realize that fitness is not a quick fix, but a positive lifestyle change. Laura's philosophy: We are not all Greek Gods and Goddesses (that's a lot of work; do you want to live in a gym?). Nor are we all twenty-somethings (we used to be; acknowledge it and move on.) Do what you can, when you can, for health and vitality and you will be rewarded with a leaner and firmer body. Laura holds certifications with the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America, American Fitness Professionals and Associates, YogaFit and The American Heart Association.
