Sharly Gladu was born on 26 December 1953 in San Antonio,Texas.  After high school, she attend the PSUC University in Plattsburgh,New York.  She currently lives in Keeseville, New York with her three cats,Rusty, Dusty (Persian Reds), and Jet (a mixed breed).  Sharly works in thereal world as a speech teacher, which actually led to her most embarrassingmoment.  During her first year of teaching, one of her students yelled downthe school hallway to her, saying "Hi peash teasher."  Naturally, the other teachers would never let her live that down, and that soon became hernickname at the school.

Sharly's inspiration for her theme creation is quitevaried.  The Theme Doctor was very influential in her early days of themecreation, giving her help and encouragement even today.  She also draws herinspiration for her site from Strata Cafe, producing a site that is classy andstreamlined.  She has helped a few other theme authors with their sites, and has passed down this admirable HTML trait.

Sharly's site has had a home on several different servers, butit has been alive and kicking since 1997.  Her site focuses on her favoritething to create--fantasy themes and stationeries.  Her very first creationwas entitled "Shadamehr Encounters Baakesh," and features the artworkof Larry Elmore.  She rates her best creations as any of her Bowser themes, all of which can be found at her site.  When not working on her site andthemes, she enjoys renovating her nostalgic home.
